Your Privacy

Privacy Policy

We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to welcome you into Homeward, we never sell your information, and you're always in control of your data.

Last updated: July 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Homeward Community ("Homeward," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit homewardcommunity.com (the "Site"), join an interest list, take our reflection, or otherwise interact with us. It also describes the privacy rights available to residents of California, Texas, and other U.S. states.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you join our interest list or contact us, we collect what you choose to share — typically your name, email address, city or area, what best describes your interest, and any note you add. If you take our "Where Am I on the Journey?" reflection, we collect your responses and the reflected result, and — only if you choose to enter it — your email address so we can send your results and a related guide.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information such as your device and browser type, general location (derived from IP address), pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site (including marketing campaign tags, or "UTM" parameters). This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.

2. How we use your information

We rely on your consent for marketing emails (which you may withdraw at any time), and on our legitimate interest in operating and improving a small faith community for the rest.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money.

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate, and only as needed to provide their service to us:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger or transfer of our activities. We do not otherwise disclose your information to third parties for their own marketing.

4. Cookies & analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to make the Site work, to remember campaign attribution, and to measure and improve our reach. We may use analytics tools and an advertising pixel (such as the Meta Pixel) that set cookies to help us understand which content and ads are useful. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse or delete them. Where required, we honor browser-based opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to stay in touch with you about Homeward and for the purposes described above, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Aggregate or de-identified information may be kept longer.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights: to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising or any "sale" or "sharing" of your information. You may also withdraw email consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. We will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details in the Contact section — we may need to verify your identity before responding.

7. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request access to and deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not knowingly process the sensitive personal information of California residents for purposes requiring an opt-out. You may exercise your rights yourself or through an authorized agent, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

8. Texas residents (TDPSA)

If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives you the right to confirm whether we process your personal data and to access it, to correct inaccuracies, to delete it, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of processing for targeted advertising or any sale of personal data. We do not sell your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us as described below. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if an appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.

9. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected on this page.
